President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi received Rustam Minnikhanov, head of Russia’s Republic of Tatarstan, at Al-Ittihadiya Palace, reaffirming Egypt’s commitment to strengthening economic ties with Russia and expanding cooperation with Tatarstan, particularly in industry, technology and agriculture, He also praised the growing momentum in bilateral strategic relations
The two sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation, focusing on the Russian industrial zone in the Suez Canal Economic Zone, with Sisi inviting Tatarstan’s investors to take part
Minnikhanov, for his part, stressed his government’s interest in deepening ties with Egypt and praised Cairo’s role in supporting regional stability
