Türkiye’s ambassador to Cairo, Salih Mutlu Şen, said his country appreciates Egypt’s role in facilitating humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, describing Cairo as a key humanitarian bridge amid the deepening crisis.
In exclusive remarks to NL News Agency, Şen said Türkiye’s 20th humanitarian aid vessel arrived at Egypt’s El Arish port two days ago, carrying about 1,400 tonnes of relief supplies for Gaza.
The shipment, prepared by the Turkish Red Crescent, includes food, hygiene supplies, shelter materials, clothing and items for children. The aid will be handed over to the Egyptian Red Crescent for onward delivery to Gaza.
