North Sinai Governor Khaled Megawer received Dutch Minister for Trade and Development Cooperation Sjoerd Wiemer Dijkstra and Dutch Ambassador to Egypt Peter Mollema at Arish International Airport, accompanied by a political and diplomatic
delegation, during a visit aimed at reviewing Egypt’s humanitarian and security efforts in North Sinai
During the meeting, Megawer outlined Egypt’s efforts to combat terrorism and achieve comprehensive development in Sinai, in addition to Cairo’s role in receiving and coordinating humanitarian aid through the Rafah border crossing to support Palestinians in the Gaza Strip
The delegation is scheduled to visit the Rafah crossing, logistics warehouses and Arish General Hospital to review relief operations and services provided in the governorate
