Egypt is commemorating today the anniversary of the June 30 Revolution, widely regarded in the country’s national consciousness as a pivotal moment that reshaped the course of the Egyptian state and reinforced the importance of preserving its institutions during a period marked by complex political and security challenges
Over the past years, the anniversary has become closely associated with a national path focused on strengthening stability, advancing major development projects, implementing economic reforms, and reinforcing state institutions
On the occasion, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi extended his congratulations to the Egyptian people, saying that the June 30 Revolution “embodied the will of the Egyptian people to preserve the identity of the Egyptian state and restore its course toward the future.” He described the revolution as a lasting symbol of national unity and of Egyptians’ ability to confront challenges and build a strong, modern state
The president also reaffirmed Egypt’s commitment to continuing its development journey, safeguarding the nation’s core principles, and promoting security and stability within the framework of the New Republic
At a time when the region continues to face successive crises, Egypt maintains that the stability of the nation-state and respect for its institutions are essential foundations for achieving development and lasting peace
