Cairo – Dalia Attia
Egypt has approved a broad cabinet reshuffle affecting sovereign, economic, and service portfolios, including defense, investment, housing, communications, and youth and sports, alongside the creation of a Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and the reinstatement of the Ministry of Information after its previous abolition, as well as the dissolution of the Ministry of Public Business Sector
The move comes at a sensitive economic and regional moment, as part of a broader effort to realign executive priorities, enhance administrative efficiency, and accelerate institutional reform, in a direct message of reassurance to markets and international development partners
